Train to Talk With Media
If you have an interview with the media coming up by phone, in-person, on TV/radio/podcast, you want to be prepared – it’s not as easy as it seems, even for those who have done it often. Each medium is different and presents its own unique challenges. For example, if it’s a sit-down TV interview and the chair swivels (as often happens on a news set), most people unconsciously move back and forth, an action that distracts from what’s being said.
We look out for these things while also training you how to speak effectively with the reporter, editor, or host. Do you know how to quickly pivot to get the important information out there if you’re expecting a 5 minute interview but at the last-minute they tell you it’s now only a 1:30 long? We take you through different scenarios such as this.
Depending on the circumstances, we can provide training:
- In-person
- Via video chat
- By phone
Don’t go it alone, know how to get your message out under the pressures — and sometime time constraints — of the media.
Presentation Training
We’ve all been there – you’re tasked with presenting a project in an important meeting, or perhaps to a larger group, or tapped to be an event speaker. Whether it’s your first time or your 10th time, we will hone your presentation skills so your information is heard and your audience engaged.
We’ll work with you for presentations that are:
- For a meeting
- Via live video stream
- On a webinar
- As an event speaker
- Being an event host
“It usually takes me more than three weeks to prepare a good impromptu speech.” – Mark Twain
